![]() If someone could give me some pros and cons, or an explanation to why they use it, it would be. I do use both patches, low loot and npc, but I'm still torn on if I should use it or not. Then without it, the mojave seems very bland. Mostly, you're supposed to shoot the added NPCs before they take your head off. I've played through New Vegas many many times and I'm wondering, should I use A World of Pain I've tried it, though it feels like it may add too many places. Doesn't really detract, as very few of the NPCs it adds are meant to be spoken too and are there for flavor or some minor storytelling when non-hostile. Great fun.Ĭoncerning there being no voice overs, he never added it AFAIK. Oh and one last fun point - add in TheCastle's Increased Wasteland Spawns mod with AWOP and you get total chaos in some areas. Also the M-weapons it adds are rather overpowered for the base game as they were designed with the AWOP dungeons in mind. ![]() I can think of a few places in the mod that aren't overly dangerous for various reasons but would give a < level 10 say character a big advantage in the vanilla quests and locations in the game when you add in some of the equipment and items you could pick up there. The only real complaint I have on it is that the mod is rather loot heavy so you may want to hold off on exploring some locations until you're somewhat more advanced in levels and equipment. ![]() Be sure to bring plenty of ammo, chems, repair kits, stimpaks, and other supplies when you attempt its larger dungeons. ![]() As for my thoughts on it, it's a high quality "dungeon romp" mod that's virtually a free DLC now given how much content it adds. There never was a thread on AWOP I don't believe, the author stuck to the Nexus and never announced here. ![]()
